MORRILL, Minn. (KNSI) The National Weather Service says a tornado that touched down Sunday night near the Benton-Morrison County line was an EF-Zero tornado with peak winds of about 75 miles an hour.

A survey team was on the ground Monday to assess the damage.

Forecaster Lisa Schmit says the tornado touched down just before six pm, three miles southwest of Morrill--which is north of Foley.

The tornado moved in a northeasterly direction and was on the ground for five-point-eight miles before lifting back up.

It produced a narrow line of mainly tree damage--but some minor structural damage was also noted--including a roof being torn off a barn. No one was injured.

Schmit says it was the only tornado reported in the entire country on Sunday.
