ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) A St. Cloud's man's body was recovered from Little Rock Lake Saturday night.

The State Patrol says the search for 59 year-old Thomas Theisen began after troopers were called to a crash on U.S. Highway 10 at milepost 167 in the Little Rock Lake area Friday  night.

Theisen was riding in a vehicle that was southbound on Highway 10 when the SUV struck a concrete guard rail on the bridge over the lake.

The vehicle was driven by 49 year-old Mary Stein.

Theisen--who was a passenger--fled the scene of foot.

Liuietenant Eric Roeske says a State Patrol Helicopter was called in to search for Theisen, and his body was found around 8:30 Saturday night. The Stearns and Benton County Water Patrols and Sauk Rapids Fire Department assisted in the search.
