ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) Our weather this spring has gone from bad to worse, and for the short term at least, it's going to stay that way.
Winter Weather Advisories and Winter Storm Warnings are out for the area from 4 pm Monday through 7 am Tuesday.
The immediate St. Cloud area is in the Winter Weather Advisory. Rain will begin to spread across the area Monday morning, and will change to snow by late afternoon. Snow will taper off overnight, with total accumulations of 3 to 6 inches.
Further to the southeast, a Winter Storm Warning is in effect. In the Twin Cities area, 6 to 9 inches of snow is possible.
The snow that falls will be blown around by north winds of 15 to 20 miles an hour, with gusts to 30 miles an hour.
All of this winter weather comes on a day when the normal high in St. Cloud is 60 degrees.
St. Cloud has already picked up 22 inches of snow this month--making it the snowiest April since record-keeping began.
